The apple carries her weight around her middle. Most apples have slim limbs, average
to full sized busts and smaller hips. To look the best, apples must draw the eye away from the
middle and to slimmer areas. A tankini is a great choice for those who seek out a two piece and
tummy coverage. Try a tankini with a halter tie top to draw eyes up to a slim neck and gorgeous
face. A matching bottom in the side-tie style or boy shorts works well.
The pear is slim and narrow up top with heavier legs, rounded hips and a full bottom.
Pears should seek to balance out the top and bottom for the most flattering look. Try a bandeau
top with a bit of padding and lift. Make legs look slimmer with a high-cut, side-tie bottom. If you
prefer more coverage below, try a boy short but make sure it does not dig into the legs or behind.
Hourglasses are proportional, with a defined waist and equal (or near equal) bust
and behind. Hourglasses need support and lift in a bikini. Look for bra-style cups with shape to lift
and flatter your bust. Try a retro style high-waisted bikini bottom or high cut bottoms to show off
your legs.
The inverted triangle is the opposite of the pear. She has broader
shoulders than hips, muscular arms and often a full bust. To balance things out, pair a bra-style
top with string tie bottoms. Look for mix and match bikinis. Choose a brighter color or print for your
bottoms. Doing so will make you look evenly proportioned. Mix and match suits are one of the best
bikinis for body types tips!
The column has a long, narrow frame with an undefined waist. Your look is all about
creating curves. String bikinis with triangle tops were made for columns! If you prefer more
coverage, try a monokini with cut away sides, which create the illusion of a curvier body.
Please make sure you have the correct size and it is also good to measure yourself to get a more accurate idea of your size.

Scarlett has a larger bust and narrower hips and wears a size 2; the models in our look-books wear a size 1.
Athletic and pear-shaped girls will fit a size 1 and can adjust the hip ties for their comfort.
Curvy and Apple shaped girls will look best and feel great in a size 2, and can wear the removable halter straps for additional support.
Girls with an hourglass figure generally look best in a size 2 but should fit appropriate to their top first, the bottoms in the same size will can be adjusted to fit perfectly.

To gain the most accurate and best fitting size, use a tape to measure the following;
Bust: Thread tape measure under arms, across shoulder blades at back around fullest part of bust at front. Relax arms at sides while keeping tape parallel with floor. This is your bust measurement. If this measurement falls on the ½ inch, round up.
Waist: To measure your waistline, bend to one side to find natural indentation in the torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around natural waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor and one finger between body and tape for a more comfortable fit.
Hips: Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom, keeping tape parallel with floor.
